The Gunstream file

Jerry Gunstream is being held on a $10,000 bail. He will appear
in court Monday if he does not post bail. A court date will be set
for Gunstream if he bails out. 

The case was investigated by Idaho State Police because
Gunstream had worked for the city of Nampa. Canyon County passed
the case to the Ada County prosecutor because former county
prosecutor John Bujak had listed his former law office with
Gunstream’s real estate company.

Gunstream served as the city of Nampa’s director of finance and
administration from 1998 to 2000. 

He also served as chairman of the board for the Nampa Chamber of
Commerce from 1996 to 1997. 

He formed Gunstream Commercial Real Estate in 2000, and in July
2008, the company joined with Coldwell Banker Commercial as an
affiliate.
